Job Summary

The Commercial Enablement, Senior Manager is responsible for driving the revenue motion by ensuring sales has the training, tools, processes, and support to execute consistently and effectively. This role operationalizes the go-to-market plan to drive consistent field readiness, execution, adoption, and performance in the field.

This role works hand in hand with Product Marketing with one shared goal: help sales win. Through strong partnership across product marketing, commercial leadership, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders, the Senior Manager enables better understanding of WCG’s markets and solutions, strategic alignment to high-value market opportunities, stronger differentiation in competitive deals, and more consistent buyer experiences.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

 

Enablement Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and manage the enablement roadmap and operationalize GTM plans to drive consistent execution, adoption, and performance across the field.
  • Partner with commercial and GTM leaders to identify execution gaps and determine a prioritization process for balancing planned initiatives with emerging field requirements.
  • Ensure enablement programs and resources reflect approved positioning, commercial processes, role requirements, and market priorities.

Training, Tools, Onboarding & Seller Efficiency

  • Design and deliver role-relevant programs, workshops, and assessment that accelerates GTM readiness and field application.
  • Ensure new-hire onboarding curriculums are up to date with the latest WCG offerings and narratives to accelerate ramp time.
  • Develop learning resources, sales playbooks, and process guidelines that support consistent execution.
  • Leverage enablement and AI tools to enhance enablement content, seller workflows, and create scalable tools and processes that support productivity and insight-led selling.
  • Act as an expert user of Dock and Gong to improve access to information, reinforce learning, and support customer-facing workflows.
  • Equip leadership with coaching guidance, practice frameworks, and performance insights to reinforce narratives, skills, and behaviors.

Field Readiness & Adoption

  • Enable field teams to apply value narratives, sales plays, commercial processes, tools and methodologies in relevant buyer and customer interactions.
  • Monitor usage of enablement tools and sales performance, providing insight into risks and recommendations for how to improve execution.
  • Drive field team communication - launch or release updates, best practices, success stories - and reinforce key initiatives to drive adoption.
  • Establish feedback loops that bring recurring field questions, customer objections, and execution challenges back to Product Marketing, Operations, and Commercial Leadership.

Go-to-Market & Product Marketing Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Marketing on GTM readiness, owning field readiness for product launches and releases, new services, packaging, or pricing launches, and campaign activation.
  • Translate positioning, buyer insights, and launch plans into field-ready programs and resources.
  • Ensure messaging and enablement are tightly aligned so sales consistently uses the right message, the right way, in every deal.

Growth & Performance

  • Assess key commercial signals and measure enablement effectiveness through training completion and assessment scores, launch readiness, content and tool adoption in workflows, and sales productivity, ramp time, and win rates.
  • Translate performance insights into actions that improve commercial outcomes and grow sales bookings for respective offerings.
  • Act as a champion of the commercial team throughout the product and customer lifecycle, gathering feedback to continuously refine enablement approaches and GTM execution.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communication, life sciences, or related field required. Graduate degree preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sales enablement, learning & development, or sales methodology certification (e.g., MEDDICC, Challenger, Sandler) preferred, but not required

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Commercial Excellence, Product Marketing, or related roles.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Go-to-Market, and Product Marketing teams in life sciences B2B environments, preferably with clinical research experience.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional collaboration and deliver programs in matrixed organization.
  • Excellent communication, change management, analytical, facilitation, and storytelling skills.
  • Prior experience using revenue enablement tools, such as HighSpot, Dock, Gong, Jiminny, Avoma.

Pay Range

USD $82,080.00 - USD $127,500.00 /Yr.
